I went there with the inaugural flight from Geneva ... with an Asturian pilot who emigrated to Geneva and made career with Easyjet. The press was invited, as an old and retired press woman I went by myself no expenses paid ... dans une manière de survol ... with no assistance and all the difficulties to solve by myself ... Asturias airport bus to Gijon, FEVE train to Llanes, overnight in Llanes, next day FEVE train to Cudillero, to be close to the airport, overnight in Cudillero, next day taxi to Asturias airport to catch the plane to Geneva.
The ideal Asturias holiday is for good hikers, nature lovers, pilgrims to Santiago and families ... do profit while it lasts, the flight is on trial. The Geneva flight to Hamburg last year was discontinued.
